Dr. Kelly was born and raised in New York City. Upon graduating Stuyvesant High School, he moved to Washington, D.C., where he attended Georgetown University, majoring in biology with a minor in philosophy. After graduating college, he attended Georgetown for medical school, where he became interested in ophthalmology. After moving back to New York, Dr. Kelly matched at North Shore/Long Island Jewish for residency, where he served as chief resident and interviewed prospective residents.
After becoming board certified, Dr. Kelly began working with the Osler Institute, helping ophthalmologists prepare for their oral boards. He is currently in private practice, working in Manhattan and Long Island. In his spare time, Dr. Kelly likes to travel the world, listen to live music, and root for the Mets, Giants, Knicks and Georgetown basketball. He is excited to help prospective students get accepted into medical school.
